Terms of service

CyberBeans LC. Effective October 3, 2026.

These terms cover every CyberBeans app listed here. When we release a new app, we add it to this list. Today they cover:

• FinBeans, on the web at finbeans.app and in its phone apps.
• AuthBeans, the sign-in service for our apps, including account.authbeans.app.

By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy says what we do with your data and is part of these terms.

1. Who can use the apps

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account.

2. What FinBeans is, and is not

FinBeans shows your accounts, bills and spending so you can plan. It is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and we are not a bank, a lender or a financial adviser. Figures come from your bank through Plaid or from what you enter, and can be late, incomplete or wrong. Check anything that matters with your bank before you act on it.

3. Prices and payment

FinBeans is free with no bank connected. Connecting banks is a monthly subscription: $4.99 for the first bank and $1.49 for each one after it. Adding a bank mid-month charges for the days left in that month. Removing one lowers your next bill. Enrich credits are bought separately, in packs, and can top up automatically if you turn that on. Prices are shown before you pay, and payments are handled by Stripe.

4. Renewal and cancelling

The subscription renews every month until you cancel. Cancel any time from Manage subscription in the app or on finbeans.app. It ends at the close of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. If we change a price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

5. Refunds

Monthly charges are not refunded for part of a month, except where the law requires it. Credits you have not used are not refunded. If you were charged by mistake, write to [email protected] within 60 days and we will put it right.

6. Using the apps fairly

Don't use the apps for anything illegal, try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, overload or probe our servers, or resell the service. We reserve the right to suspend or close an account that does. If we do, we will tell you why, unless the law does not allow it.

7. Your data

What you add stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the apps for you. You can export or delete it as the privacy policy describes.

8. Changes and availability

We may change or stop a feature. We will email you before a change to these terms takes effect, and before we shut down a paid service, with time to export your data. We aim to keep the apps running but can't promise they will never be down.

9. Our responsibility

The apps are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law says can't be limited.

10. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, USA. Write to us first and we will try to sort it out. If we can't, disputes go to the state or federal courts in Fulton County, Georgia.
